What are the best road trip apps? Have you ever looked for the best apps? Or maybe the first thing you think of when going on a road trip is “what music do I want to listen to?”. Take a look at our five best apps for your next road trip for other possibilities!

Number one on our list is Spotify! Maybe the most important app is a map, but what’s the point in going somewhere without music? Spotify is our go-to for all of our music during road trips! With over 30 million songs and the ability to make your own playlists without listening to songs on repeat, it’s our #1.

Maps. You won’t be able to get anywhere without a map, and most of us think of Google Maps when setting out to our destination, but there is no better app more suited for road trips than Roadtrippers! This app lets you plan your entire road trip and it suggests attractions along the way, as well as food, gas and hotels! You can also share it with friends, letting them know where you are going!

Drivvo! It’s our favorite for vehicle maintenance and gassing up. This app keeps a detailed record of when you gassed up, and when your oil change is due, along with other preventative maintenances! it also gives you the best gas prices near you while on your road trip.

Waze is the world’s largest community-based traffic and navigation app! We like it for avoiding anything (like traffic and road work) on our drives around town. For a long road trip, it is extremely helpful to find the fastest route to your destination, while avoiding any potential headaches along the way.

Lastly, we all need a place to sleep! That’s where Hoteltonight comes into play. It’s a great way to find last-minute hotel deals around you. Hotels with empty rooms offer them up to Hoteltonight at highly discounted rates (up to 70% off,) and from there is up to you to pick your place to crash that night!
